Calvary Chapel Rock Hill began as a home fellowship in the living room of the pastor with two other families. We moved into our present location in the Rock Hill, SC area in 2003 and have been faithful to pray for God's blessing on this community. We are excited to see God answering our prayers in giving us the privilege to serve our community and minister the love of Jesus our Lord to the hurting, the lost, and those seeking encouragement. Although Calvary Chapel is new to the area, Pastor Dennis Davis is a Carolina native and has been an ordained minister since 1977.

Why another church you may ask? We asked the same thing – there are many fine godly churches in the Rock Hill area that are faithfully proclaiming God’s Word and applying it in the lives of godly parishioners. However, we have discovered a uniqueness in the Calvary style that we have not as yet discovered elsewhere in Rock Hill. Therefore, a new Church – one that we believe will have an appeal to many who are seeking such a church.

Our goal is to seek God. To come into the presence of the Creator of the Universe with worship and praise. We endeavor to discover His truth, His mercy and learn of His Grace through His Word. We endeavor to discover God’s will and purpose for each of our lives. We seek to do this by worshiping in a contemporary style and by a systematic in-depth study of God’s Word. Calvary Chapel is an informal church that opens its doors to all, regardless of ethnic background or economic status. We are excited to see lives changed and people drawing closer to the Lord as they discover their unique calling while we study God's Word verse by verse.

We have a burden for youth and the direction that our culture is heading. We have in our fellowship committed men and women who desire to serve. We have in our Sunday School experienced individuals who desire to see our youth instructed in the truths of God's Word.
